La Matriarca is a gripping documentary set in 1900 during the Thousand Days' War. The story unfolds as Hortensia and Salvador discover Dionisia, a wounded indigenous woman with a rebel flag in her hair, in their farm's stable.
With a substantial reward offered for her capture, Hortensia's powerful father, Arístides, is determined to find her. Torn between the chance to secure funds for her critically ill daughter and protecting Dionisia while confronting her own past, Hortensia faces a heart-wrenching decision.
Our team was responsible for the music production and composition, creating a poignant score that underscores the film's emotional and dramatic intensity, enhancing the narrative of conflict and personal sacrifice.
